Fitness is not just a passion of mine but also my livelihood and living. So applying my passion, drive, motivation, work ethic and determination to wanting to help others get fit and healthy. I know exactly how my clients feel or anyone else out there that finds it hard to commit, find time and energy to want to train towards your fitness goals.
From my experience waking up at 6am to head to the gym to train before having to work a 9-5 full time job as well as studying to gain my fitness instructor and personal training qualifications in the aim of changing career to start up my own personal training business. Staying late at work to finish off course work, studying for exams or working on client programs.
My full time job working as a office clerk administrator for a solicitor firm for over 10 years and in the last 2 years studying to become a personal trainer in my own time, qualifying then working as a personal trainer part time. Whist also juggling a relationship and family life so I know exactly what it’s like to juggle work and fitness trying to find the motivation, drive to continue when extremely tired or busy it's far from easy. 100% helps when you have the backing of your family and friends to support and help you get through it even at times when it's been hard and challenging so special mention has to go to my girlfriend (Louise) who has stuck by me, helped me achieve and get to where I am today.
I've been fortunate and privileged learning from a qualified sports science, fitness manager (Daniel at Fitness First) who has given me the opportunity to improve on my wellbeing, health and not to mention fitness. I've been able to learn new, improved structured cardio and resistance weight training. It has given me the extra passion and excitement to want to pass on that knowledge and experience. I’ve gained helping many others that seek my help and advice on improving their health, fitness and general wellbeing. I take great pride and acceptance in knowing how I can change another person’s life through health and fitness.
What enabled me to fit and get through the hardship of juggling wanting to train, study and work was to find and commit to a routine that best suited. It wasn't easy, took a little while to find but once I did I was able to commit and be consistent (which I would say is so important when deciding to wanting to make a change to your heath and fitness is to fully commit and be consistent).
For every excuse that we have, we have some really good ones but at the end of the day there are all still excuses, finding the time not easy, finding the comment, consistency, motivation, fitting around work and family may not be as important to some but if you want to make a change then you have to drop the excuses, you have to make the time, start somewhere and you may need help and that extra push to get started.
I'm James Danderson - Mobile personal trainer of D.O.BF1tness and I'm here to "HELP YOU" make that start, help and push you through. I've been in your shoes, I am in your shoes so I know what its like. I have first hand knowledge and experience in knowing how you feel, what you want and how to make that change.
